You have this Altise Airconditioner with dehumidifier..Which is better ? an air condition with dehumidifier or a stand alone dehumidifier?

It all depends on what you want to use it for?

I'm currently in the UK and have had great luck with this one

Ruby Dry Dehumidifier - Desiccant Dehumidifier

This is a great machine not as large, noisy or as fragile as something with a compressor and from what I've looked at doesn't use as much power.

Ooooh that thing is cool, how do you dry the dessicant after it is at it's saturation point, do you have to swap it out?
When it's working it should only be the power the fan uses which I'd imagine would be 150W or less.

The one gav post will also work when you are using a heater which would greatly reduce the chance of growing mould in winter.

It has an element in it that the desiccant get heated over and form condensation and drops into the reservoir below it Ruby Dry Operation

uses up to 450W of power on full, not the cheapest to run, but better than mould in camera gear. Works great with heater on.

Yeah it would be really good in winter as it would be a nice dry heat instead of the normal warm humid air floating around.
A reverse cycle unit only pulls air when it's set to cool.
