    yeah that'd work, better than using a windowsill slider and bottom of door with tripod head mounted on drilled and screwed into it. Although can get a good result with that.

    realise that'd also double well as a gimbal for loose settings and free movement to photograph wildlife.

    ah only takes the weight of a 200mm lens, maybe not. Although... a lighter camera body and 400mm lens may fit under the 5Kg load limit. hmmm. Tripod head for thought!
