    Photos of your pets

I know a lot of people take photos of their pets and figured you may want to share them here.

This is my mate Chewie, he's a rescue dog from Dog's Trust a rescue group here in the UK, we're his 4th home and we got him at 18 months, he'd spent half his life in kennels by then, he's now coming up for 7!

He loves a chair in the window when it's sunny.

He misses me horribly when I head back to Australia to catch up with friends and family.

    Photography details
    1st photo:
    Camera: Canon 1ds MkIII
    Lens: Canon TS-E 24mm
    fstop: 3.5
    exposure: 800th of a second
    ISO: 640
    manual focus

    2nd photo:
    Camera: Canon 1ds MkIII
    Lens: Canon TS-E 24mm
    fstop: 3.5
    exposure: 500th of a second
    ISO: 640
    manual focus

    3rd photo:
    Camera: Canon 1ds MkIII
    Lens: Canon TS-E 24mm
    fstop: 3.5
    exposure: 100th of a second
    ISO: 640
    manual focus

all edited in adobe lightroom, mainly just dropping the size and dulling down highlights that's all. That's generally all I do to any photos though!

I don't have any pets but after the last fires not too far from us we seem to have more birdlife than ever, sadly the native Butcher Birds gang up on anything that moves in.

Yeah the owl is pretty cool, he seems to like that tree and possibly has a nest in the backyard, looks too flat to be a possum nest.

Hate to say it but this was taken on full auto, cheeky fella wouldn't stay still and kept jumping on the camera.
Also taken at a massive 2MP hahaha!

Haha, thanks, it was shot at a huge 2.3MP, had the camera set for when I forgot to fit a memory card, so glad the camera has some built in memory.

Yeah we all are, it was shot on full auto too, damn thing kept jumping on to the camera so I couldn't manually focus or he would jump on to my hand.

Spotted this cheeky monkey on a ride a few weeks back.
