CANON 1100D Single Lens Kit DSLR Camera on sale at a great DEAL!! price from Dick Smith!!

For anyone wanting to get into photography this is a great DEAL!! I think it was on this website that someone said the best thing to do when getting into DSLR cameras is learn with a cheap body and a cheap lens then invest in lenses as they keep their value more than the camera body does. I think this is very helpful advice I got a 40D as my first Digital SLR but could then only afford cheap lenses and they weren't great even on a 40D!! Get the CANON 1100D Single Lens Kit DSLR Camera Black on sale with $70 off now just $328:

If you are new to photography or are looking to enter the DSLR market for the first time then the 1100D is ideal.
Upon receiving the camera, you will notice it is somewhat lighter than other DSLR's which raises questions around its durability. The features offered by the camera are standard across most of the Canon range but with some limitations (e.g ISO increments are somewhat frustrating on the 1100D).
The single lens kit comes with the 18-55mm which is probably the most handy for new photographers. Its performance is somewhat average but is what one would expect from an entry level camera.
If you are just getting into photography or want a cheaper DSLR then the 1100D is ideal.

    Pros: simple, in-built flash, lightweight
Cons: not very durable, cheap feeling plastic, iso/shutter speed limited

I would recommend this to a friend!

A lot to like about this camera:-
It takes quite good photos for general use. The micro len is excellent on this camera for extreme close up detailed shots. It is light weight, which I don't mind.

    Pros: good price

I bought this camera last week from DickSmith. It is an AWESOME entry level camera. You quickly learn how to use it, and within hours your taking brilliant quality pics. I would however recommend buying the twin kit (2 lens), as you'll find to buy the second lens is a lil over priced when not in the kit, so save yourself the cash and grab the twin kit available here at dicksmith.
It's easy interface, and ease of use, anyone can use. And so simple to print, just remove your sdhc card and take it off to print. There is auto zoom, or you can manually zoom the lens. Lot's of different picture settings, I'm sure there's more technical stuffy to it, but for me, I'm not a photographer, just a mum who is sick of being ripped off by baby photographers for "passport" photos. So far, I've taken many quality "baby photographer" pics".

Pros: easy to use, non complicated, fantastic quality prints

I would recommend this to a friend!
