That will be a very helpful tool. I often use google for doing that, as it checks for misspells too.

    for example googling:

    Site:ebay.com.au Canon 100-400 lens

often brings up those that put Cannon instead of Canon, or all the different versions that people describe certain lenses.

Haha and people like me that think lens is spelled lense, I always assumed lazy American dropped the e but it was me being silly.

I misspell a lot of searches on gumtree as people that can't spell seem to care little about how much they get for the item, made a profit on a couple of things now.

Yep Lens is one that a lot of people spell wrong, you often find on photography auctions and forums it's spelt lense.

    The plural lenses is correct.

Interesting idea about misspelled gumtree listings, guess if they're not getting any takers at all because no one's seeing their gumtree ad they will accept a lower offer.

We may need a misspelled gumtree website!

Funny there were two bikes on sale on gumtree I made the sellers an offer for one of them below what they were asking, they refused, 2 weeks later I saw both bikes in an op shop front window. They wouldn't take a lower sum of money and had to give them away!
