    20. Buy in Bulk.

    20. Buy in Bulk. If there's a non perishable item on sale buy a lot of it. Generally things go up in price over time if you've got deodorant, toilet paper, canned goods, mouth wash or other items that stay low in price then you will save money.

    21. Use the free shipping from supermarkets

    21. Use the free shipping from supermarkets, really a continuation of buy in bulk, if you're getting a lot of shopping from a supermarket when buying in bulk or do a big spend each week try to find one offering free delivery/shipping/whatever they call it, I know woolworths do it some times and it's free for your first order.

    22. Do online shopping for your weekly supermarket shop.

    22. Do online shopping for your weekly supermarket shop. This is great to save money people who don't enter the store spend less. We've all heard EYE LEVEL IS BUY LEVEL (although learnt from Gruen Transfer it's arm level is buy level) if you don't see the products being advertised and stick to a shopping list then you will save money, not need to use fuel for your car and spend up to half an hour doing it rather than anywhere up to 3 hours driving/walking/public transporting there and back and the supermarket delivers it at times that suit you!

    25. Learn basic car maintenance. A bit like my other one about doing a DIY course this is helpful for those things you can do yourself at home. Youtube has great videos and one link I saw from this website went to How To Home - Supercheap Auto Australia which shows some basic and more advanced how to information. such as the pages: Oils & Lubricants - Supercheap Auto Australia with helpful videos:

    26. Join a Library. This is very helpful especially if you have kids. Kids books can be overly expensive and often not the ones they want, if you try the books at the library and they want it read over and over again then maybe buy a copy but this way you can try many out.

Setup a hard Data Limit and Warning on your 3G and 4G usage for Android phones.

    27.

Set a Hard Data Limit for 3G and 4G on your Android mobile phone, this is really an extension of the money saving tip 15, but it's a great way of stopping excess data usage, I've done a more detailed post in the mobiles phone section here: How to set up a warning and hard data limit on your Android phone, stop excess 3G and 4G bills! hope it helps you save money on your phone bill!

    28. Serve smaller portions. I'm trying to loose weight and save some money and one of the best ways I've found is reduce your portion sizes for meals a little each week, it cuts down costs and the waist line! If you do it gradually it's been easier for me and I hope it's helpful for others.

    29. Learn to Cook - it saves a lot of money and means you can eat cheaply and a lot of variety!

    29.
A bit more on 1 really - I was reading DealHouse post here: Scanpan Impact 3pc Saucepan Set now on sale from Kitchenware Direct and thought Learn to Cook it means you can eat at home more often and have a good variety.

I know for a single person in Sydney it was often cheaper to eat out between 1997 - 2006 but after the 2007 crash and massive prices rises I found I couldn't afford to eat out any more and I also met my then girlfriend now wife... I had to learn to cook and to get a few pots and pans, not just my barbie, 1 full metal Ikea pot and a wok. I've gotten a lot better, but don't bother with watching MasterChef and other cook shows instead read some of the blogs mentioned (also by OP) about cheap cooking here: Money Saving Food Blogs There's a lot of great advice and information.
