Home made Christmas Crackers how to make them bang

Hi everyone wasn't sure if this is the right place or should it be help find a deal or may be arts and crafts to ask about this? I'm making home made Christmas crackers out of the cardboard from toilet rolls and Christmas wrapping paper and then adding either small bottles of spirits/liqueurs if they fit or liqueur filled chocolates if they don't but I can't work out a way to make them bang.

Is there somewhere you can buy the inserts for Christmas crackers that bang or a way to make them yourself? Any advice would be appreciated.
    I love to shop!

Thank you for this I never knew you could buy them off ebay!

Went to buy them from Petals and Paint Petals and Paint Online Store as they're in Melbourne but their store came up with "The store is temporarily closed for maintenance.
    Please check back soon."

Will try some of the others very helpful. Might put double bang in my brothers!

Doing homemade projects is a great way to save money, a very good idea, never knew what to do with toilet roll insides.

Just wondering I use Chrome on my phone and laptop and it tells me homemade is spelt wrong, I'm sure that's how it's meant to be written. Sorry shopaholic don't mean to be rude. Anyone know?
