Vodafone Prepaid Recharge 15% Discount Australia wide at Woolworths.

Not sure if I should post this in supermarkets or Mobile Phones or as the forum seems to be called Mobiles Phones?? I just noticed that Woolworths with Vodafone are offering prepaid recharge discount of 15%. I've tried to attach an image from the Woolworths catalogue that has the deal:

Thanks for that DealHouse and fixed the forum name to Mobile Phones. Silly me!

The attached image worked fine and Vodafone are quickly becoming the best network in Australia, I love their pre-paid wi-fi dongle setup.

Wow, I have never seen a 15% discount, do they just do it in hope of getting other sales, there is no way Voda would pay a 15% commission to Woolworths for prepaid sales?

you'd be surprised at the amount they can give as a commission for phone companies. It maybe a loss leader for woolworths to get people in the store.

But looking at the cashback sites What is cash back with social shopping websites? How to get CashBack Deals. you can get up to 27.7% cashback from vodafone:

    Online shopping cashback - StartHere.com.au

that's their contract plans but still you can see how much they're paying companies, as for starthere to offer that sort of cash back they're probably getting 30 to 40% commission!

An sms costs networks about $00.000000000001 to send, phone calls are slightly higher, data is still expensive, but should drop very quickly. It's still no where near the 50cents per MB when you go over the plan limit, probably closer to 5cents.

I think if a company gets around 10,000 orders for a phone company they'd make about 50% commission, that's how a lot of shops like Crazy John's made massive profits fast and were able to expand in that rapid manner they did in late 90s early 2000s.
