I've been on a trip with them in the past to asia they had very knowledgeable guides that were good fun.

One of the women on the trip was in her 50s and when booking had been told "this is for backpackers, you may not keep up" she was fitter than all of us, she was an Aussie but lived in Italy.
2 others from Melbourne were on the trip and they had bags that weighed 50kg+ EACH! It was their start of the round the world trip, they had major problems, the 50 year old had a small rucksack and was great at travelling. Much more exciting and didn't need every home comfort. I HAVE TO HAVE A HAIR DRYER!! 2 weeks without like I've just done hiking in Tassie made me a mess!!!!
    I love to shop!

Wow, good to know they were a good travel agent to go through

15% off selected Asian trips at Geckos Adventures-

Geckos Adventures Holidays: Guided Small Group Travel Tours & Trips

Because chilling on the beach sipping beer is way cooler than a desk

It’s happened. It’s February. The holidays are really over now. Sure you might have set some cool resolutions, signed up for a new gym membership, started the year with a bang. But let’s face it, going back to work/ uni/ school after the silly season sucks the big one. No more tinsel. No more inappropriate mid-morning festive drinks. And there’s the whole WORK thing.
Luckily, us Geckos guys are on your team. We’re here to keep the holiday vibes flowing with 15% off eight ace trips across South-East Asia in March and April. Because feasting on seafood while you sail past the limestone caves of Halong Bay is way cooler than a desk. It’s probably even cooler than Christmas.
THESE TRIPS ARE WAY MORE FUN THAN WORK:
    1) A land before time travel
6 days in Cambodia. Was $450, now from $383
    2) Tales of old Siam
10 days in Thailand. Was $760, now from $646
    3) Wild ones of Borneo
9 days in Borneo. Was $1255, now from $1067
    4) Vietnam in a banana leaf
15 days in Vietnam. Was $1045, now from $889
    5) Indo-needs-ya
22 days in Indonesia. Was $1945, now from $1653
    6) Riding the reunification train
11 days in Vietnam. Was $860, now from $731
    5 PHO-BEATING VIETNAMESE DISHES
Let's be frank, food is hands down the best thing about travel. And Vietnam really steps it up a notch....
    10 FACTS ABOUT INDONESIA
Did you know that Indonesia sits on both sides of the equator? We're not sure which way their water flows...

    The best bits:

    • The Nemo I is a Twin Hull Sailing Catamaran, which means you get to actually sail sometimes without the engine (this is especially cool, because lots of other Galapagos boats don’t sail)

    • A choice of 10, 7 or 6 day itineraries depending how much time off work you can scam

    • Your snorkeling gear and wetsuits are included FOR FREE

    • There’s an indoor AND outdoor lounge, and heaps of space on the deck for tan times

    • All of your meals are included, so you get to eat lots. In between meals there’s unlimited tea, coffee and water and a bar for special treats

    • There’s seven rad crew members and a qualified naturalist guide on every boat to keep you informed

FACTY THINGS: 10 FACTS ABOUT THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

The Galapagos Islands are one of the most hypnotizing places on Earth. True story. It’s nature at its wildest, free-est and brightest. There are not too many destinations where it feels like humans are the visitors and the animals rule the roost. This is their turf and we’re just along for the ride. It’s the kind of place you can swim with sea lions one day, and take a walk with iguanas the next.

    24 HOURS IN THE GALAPAGOS

To spend 24 hours in the Galapagos, you’ll have to do it largely by boat. No fancy restaurants and bars here, just the sea and a whole lot of wildlife. The beauty is that each morning when you dock, you’ll have a new adventure and a new destination. These incredible islands each have their own distinct character and what you’ll see depends on where you go. One thing is for sure; you’ll swim, stare and photograph more than you ever thought possible.
