Looking for a large external hard drive, thinking of the Lacie 5big Thunderbolt 10TB, any other

I'm trying to organise all my external harddrives and there's just too much content, mainly photos from my work as a landscape photographer before I tore my ankle tendons, I want to get everything onto one drive then run some sort of duplicate file checker over everything, I'm currently thinking of the LACIE LaCie 5big Thunderbolt Series - Hard drive array - 10 TB - 5 bays ( SATA-600 ) - 5 x HD 2 TB - Thunderbolt (external)

but it's expensive, best price in the UK I've found is 900 through Amazon UK:
    LACIE LaCie 5big Thunderbolt Series - Hard drive array - 10 TB - 5 bays ( SATA-600 ) - 5 x HD 2 TB - Thunderbolt (external)

a bit better priced in Australia $1,199 (about 750)
    Lacie 5big Thunderbolt 10TB

    Lacie 5big Thunderbolt 10TB [9000378AS] - $1,199.00 - Scorptec Computers

anyone know of a better deal, or another option, I think 10TB should be enough space.

there's a few good 4TB deals on the website, just get 2 or 3 of them.

    Two that you've posted:
Seagate Backup Plus 4TB Desktop Hard Drive USB 3.0 on sale from Dick Smith.
Western Digital My Book Hard Drive 4tb on sale @JBHiFi and @Officeworks, great price!

If you don't need speed and USB2 is enough get 5 of these that I posted that will give you 10TB:

will cost you $395 instead of over $1000!
