Nokia Lumia 928 Almost Identical To A Lumia 920.

Not really sure why they bothered with this, yes it supposedly has a better camera and it is a bit lighter but it has the same processor, same screen resolution and a whole host of other things that don't seem to have changed.

However it should force the price of the 920 down so keep an eye out for deals on them-

The Lumia 928 for Verizon launched today, and many people are probably wondering “how is this phone any different from the Lumia 920?” Well, the short answer is “not much.” As you can see in the chart above the 928 have a lot in common, but there are some important differences.
One big complaint about the Lumia 920 was that it felt like a “tank” in the hand. It’s a thick and heavy phone, no doubt. The Lumia 928 improves upon those specs. As you can see it is both thinner and lighter than the 920. Some other differences are in the camera, but that’s just a new flash and some software improvements. Basically this is Big Red’s version of the 920, which a lot of people wanted.
Are you satisfied with specs from a 2012 device? Will you be getting a Lumia 928?

How many songs would a 32GB phone hold? Might be enough to replace my ipod.
    I love to shop!

I don't know how much space the operating system would use? I've searched around on google and can't find the information.

You would still get 6-8000 songs at a decent bit rate, you really want to go higher than 128k but if you just use the stock headphones that rate would probably be fine.

I don't think the phone is released until the 16th and I'm not sure if it is a global release, sorry.....

Do you know what amount of space the operating system for Windows 8 phone takes up at all?

No I couldn't find it but the minimum capacity a Phone 8 can have is 4GB so it must be quite large.

The 928 may have expandable memory, the 920 doesn't but the cheaper 820 does so you can have 40GB total on an 820 and it is cheaper.
