Carpal Tunnel has once again forced me to close the site to postings again.

    Hi all,
sadly the carpal tunnel's gotten worse again and I thought I'd be able to get a lot of posts done, but dealing with spammers takes my time, I've been forced to close the forums to new posts again.

Savings and best interest rate updates
I will still be updating these 3 pages every Thursday:
Compare best interest rates for savings accounts - Money | Saver Scene Australia
Compare the best term deposit rates - Money | Saver Scene Australia
Regular Savings - high interest savings accounts - Money | Saver Scene Australia

I am going for surgery on the 19th of December sadly that's for torn ankle tendons not my carpal tunnel.

I don't know when I'll be back and I'm sorry I've had to do this again.

    Boooo, hope it somehow improves.

I've been off with a piece of metal in my eye, it's pretty good now but I can't look at a computer for long lengths of time and have eyedrops to use for three months

I've had one of my operations, so far a success. However it was on my ankle and not my hands, my hands are still terrible.

I have Dystonia - Dystonia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - which affects my muscles and pulls and contorts things wrongly causing muscle, ligament and tendon tears. It's very frustrating!

The big problem is using one limb triggers another limb to do things, typing forces my legs to jolt, even holding books is becoming a problem.

There's trial treatments that block signals to the body, think they're called Beta blockers or Neuro blockers, but they're similar to anti depressants, not something I want to be on my whole life as I like a few rum and cokes or beers every now and then and they don't mix with the tablets.

In the US they've been trying to put computer chips in the back of the brain and deep brain stimulation to try to stop the twitches. From what I've heard it works well for one limb, but I've got all 4 and upper torso twitches in shoulders.

Botox is another option, but once again it'd leave my entire body numb.

That doesn't sound like fun at all, In one of my previous jobs I had a customer who would shuffle around slowly and had quite bad tremors. I saw the guy for the first time in 10yrs and he was walking 'round like everyone else and his speech was almost perfect. He had something experimental done to his brain and was getting better and better.
