Great Ad from New Zealand :: Blazed - Drug Driving in Aotearoa, bet Gruen Planet will show it!

Friend just posted this on FB::

Blazed - Drug Driving in Aotearoa

Three Maori boys find themselves in a situation familiar to most kids growing up in New Zealand - sitting outside in the car, waiting for one of their dads to come out and drive one of them home.

The only thing is, the dad has been blazing, and the kids know it.

We watch them change from comical to contemplative, as they examine their own awareness of their dads' behaviour in the raucous, imaginative way only young boys can.

That is a pretty powerful ad, I do love the Kiwi ads, some of the best in the world.

I have to wait to see Gruen Transfer - Sorry Gruen Planet now isn't it, a friend digitises it and sends it to me, wonder if the ad made the show.

This is interesting: Gruen, 7:30, ABC News and Hamster all win timeslots | TV Tonight

I used to have a ratings box when I lived in Sydney, when we got it within a month SBS and ABC ratings both went up 2%. The Glasshouse and Spicks and Specks got a good jump!

Loved the Gruen Nation show from this week, great to see they mentioned Dumb Ways to Die one of the best ads around.

If you haven't see it there's the original and a gamers parody version here: Dumb Ways to Die (in Video Games) Parody.
