    GOPRO HD Hero3 - Black Edition, $399.

The GOPRO HD Hero3 - Black Edition doesn't really go on sale all that often so this is a really good buy at $399.

This version of the GoPro HD Hero3 - Black edition includes Motorsports mounts.

Whether you are archiving experiences or using them as a learning tool, GoPro cameras are the cream of the crop.

GoPro cameras have become an integral part of capturing action sports moments, Whether it be Professionals using them or weekend warriors, you can be sure the highlight of your day will be captured – and all in crystal clear HD. Wearable, mountable, and submersible, the Hero3: Black Edition has the ability to capture ultra wide angle footage with 2700p video and 12 megapixel photos so you will never miss that perfect shot.

The Hero3 Black edition improves on its high performing predecessor – the HD Hero 2 - and is packed with a number of new features. To start with, the Hero3: Black Edition is 25% lighter and 30% smaller than the Hero 2, making it even more compact and unobtrusive. A new and improved aspherical lens and user selectable field of view options allows users to capture exactly what they want. Built in Wi-Fi allows for remote control connectivity and compatibility with the GoPro App which gives users full camera control straight from their iOS smartphones and tablets.

The Hero3: Black Edition remains compatible with all GoPro mounting accessories and BacPacs. However, due to the smaller size, it is not compatible with Hero2 housings.

I wish I had of followed my convictions back in 2000 I suggested building a kit (either case or a camera) that fitted to the side of cycling helmets and was waterproof to my friends who I thought maybe interested as I could see the demand for digital increasing and they all said nah it'd never work, I even put a small display to one of those venture capital business start up things in Darling Harbour and got knocked back by everyone, mainly on the fact I was "too young"! Even at 30 banks knocked me back for being too young! When will I be old enough to be taken seriously?

I don't think GoPro started until 2003 after the people that run it were in Australia.

2 of the friends I suggested it to back in 2000 now own gopro cameras for snowboarding!!! And one even wrote to me to tell me how awesome these things are, when I pointed out that it's exactly what I wanted to do in 2000 he was like "oh yeah, you asked if I could do 3D graphics and animations for it for some display".
