    I didn't even know these things existed in the real world, I've seen them on tech shows etc. But no idea they were about in shops!

    They must work that company now seems to be owned by duracell.

    There seems to be a standard called QI wireless charging and McDonalds in Europe are looking at installing charging pads in there stores.

    Some of the JDM DoCoMo phones have had inductive charging for a little while now.
