    Rescue Dogs Find a Home

    Community Photographic Exhibition
Exhibition Dates: 6 August to 29 August 2013
Venue: Fountain Court Area, NSW Parliament House, 6 Macquarie Street, Sydney
Opening Times: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

My Human Family is a community photographic project/campaign which shares the stories of families who have fostered or adopted homeless dogs, who have often been abandoned, neglected or abused. Through these family photos and stories, we journey with the rescue dog – often starting in horror and sadness but then finding a new human family filled with love and happiness.
250 entries were submitted to the project from across Australia, with 40 images and their stories selected for exhibition as well as featured in a printed catalogue.

Fantastic idea, my first dog was a stray found at Jewels beach just south of Newcastle and he became a big part of our family.

We now have a great rescue dog, got him at 1 and half years old, he'd spent 9 months in kennels and had had 3 families before ours, we've had him for 5 years and he's brilliant!
