I've not tried any budgeting or personal finance software packages yet and is probably something I should do, but I generally don't over spend and have a fair idea where my finances are at most times. I generally use Excel for my business.
I'll try and get a copy of a few of the free budget and PFS packages and write up some reviews over the coming months.
