Federal Election 2013 - Sydney Morning Hearald - almost live updates.

For those away from TV or overseas:

    Federal Election 2013

    - Doesn't look like Australia will be getting the fast NBN and getting slower speeds than most of the world has already. A real shame and will hold Australia back on the world stage of development and technology.

More importantly we have the wingnut as our spokesperson, will be a sad day indeed for Australia
Hopefully they kick him out and Turnbull takes his place at least he seems to think before he opens his mouth.

In regards to the broadband I really don't care, we are expected to get the NBN here in 2018, I'd imagine by then the mobile network will be more than fast enough for what I want to do. If you aren't downloading illegal content why do you need crazy speed? Hahaha!

In the UK I stream all my TV in HD so I can watch it whenever I want. Developing content is also a lot easier with fast internet, oh and don't forget gaming.

I also wanted to run 2 servers on the NBN to host websites from a garage in Melbourne, as back-ups for this site as it'll be running out of Sydney and wanted fast Melbourne access and make sure the site was never down, under the Libs the speed just isn't fast enough.

I've noticed him in the UK being compared with George W Bush and Berlusconi, when's Australia's first Bunga Bunga party?

Can't believe Abbott was trained as a Catholic priest with how sleazy he always seems.

Just looked at the SMH site and it's now 80 to 52.
    I love to shop!

They're putting the NBN in near me, I hope the highspeed one makes it to me! I think it's very important!

My favourite one from the election:

Looks like Murdoch put ABbott up there:
