Free Video/Photo Hosting Site With No Ads.

The Magix Online World gives you 500MB storage for free and has no annoying ads, it seems to have quite good video quality, I have no idea how compressed it is but it is loads better than a Facebook HD video!

that's expensive, although I hate this website one of the cheapest is Domain Names | The World's Largest Domain Name Registrar - GoDaddy.com and you don't need to pay a monthly fee.

The site itself is fine, it's the owners cruelty to animals that I don't like. I've tried about 30 different domain registry companies since 1999 and they offer the best back end I've come across.

oh and be careful of sites that offer to setup/buy the domain for you, I fell for that back in 1999 the company purchased the domain "in my name" but they owned it, which really wasn't clear on the T&Cs, I got the website up to getting about 1000 daily users (a lot for a site ran by one person in the late 90s) went to renew the domain in 2000 and they told me they owned it and if I wanted it I had to pay $2,000US to keep running the site. I didn't pay the money as I read the T&Cs and after the $2000 that was a years lease, then to buy the domain outright off them they wanted $10,000 with an increment of $500 for every 500 extra daily users went to the site. So if the site took off and had 20,000 users/day they wanted an extra $19,000 (as the site already had 1,000 per day).

I told them to stick it and gave up one of my first successful ventures onto the online world and basically left the internet for 6 months.

yeah I removed about 20 domains that I didn't need the high end technical back end that they have. Got rid of most of them as I try to cut back costs.

a few i need to be able to use CNAME an ANAME setups which are easiest under godaddy
