From what I've read there's already drivers for Wacom under Windows 8.

Didn't realise it came out tomorrow. That's come round fast!

OK, slight update, my local store has two in stock but as I Pre Ordered online I have to wait for an email saying I can go and collect it.

Seems weird, it's paid for and in stock but I'm not allowed to pick it up, should have just walked in and bought it in the first place.

Another chain store told me that they wouldn't be getting the DVD version because it was only avaliable online, I told the salesperson there was a retail pack and they said yes but it's only online, why don't people know what they are selling?

Oh Harvey Norman, that's such a silly way of doing it, I guess they feel: "we've already got a sale from them, we might get walk in traffic so better keep some back" very frustrating.

It's amazing how many people don't know what they're selling in shops!

What I find frustrating is when I work into shops, I often look like a computer geek that has let his hair grow a bit long, I get followed by security everywhere, supermarkets, bookshops, sport shops, even gaming shops! I just go well screw it I'll buy online if this is the way staff are going to treat me, for books I end up going to Free delivery worldwide on all books from The Book Depository because as the link says they offer it free anywhere in the world and are often priced better than any shop I've been in Australia!

Installing it soon, just cloning my drive now so I can go back if I don't like Windows 8.

I ended up getting it from a friend who funnily enough walked in to Havey's and bought four copies, I'm just going to give him mine when/if I get it!

yeah I've just downloaded it and installing now on my other machine, turns out you need at least 20GB free on your C drive. I only set a 50GB partition for C and only have 15GB spare, time to delete temp files, uninstall software etc that I don't use.

Just out of curiosity how much RAM at idle does your computer use?
Mine seems to sit at 800MB without installing any of my other drivers, but it seems there is very little CPU usage does that mean the OS is just assigning set amounts of RAM to open programs?

Sorry if my terminology is off I don't know a lot about computers.

If this is how smooth a Windows phone works I'll buy one for sure.

sitting with only task manager open (wifi connection going as well) it's running at 1% CPU and 1.4GB of Ram, roughly 1/4 of my ram... However I think the video driver uses about 1GB of shared memory, as it doesn't have it's own video memory card.

Yes, I'm looking to see what comes out in a windows 8 phone, I'm not impressed by my samsung, got the cheapest on offer at the time at a PAYG rate. I was hoping to hold out for a Win8 phone, but sadly my other phone broke before windows 8 was out.

I like the speed of it, the calendar and looks good for syncing things up, going to try it with my Xbox 360, which has just had a interface update to make it similar to Windows 8.

Even with FireFox and 3 tabs opened CPU running at 4% and 1.6GB of ram.

The Xbox 360 integrate accounts didn't go too well, now have to wait 30 days to change profile information! Very frustrating!!!

That's not good, why do they make you wait 30 days?

I am really liking Windows 8, the only thing I didn't like was the lack of a normal power button but after using this method- How to Shut Down Windows 8 In Just One Click you can have a power button in the Start menu and on the desktop.

I still can't get a Fujitsu driver to work for my scroll function, I'm fairly sure I have done it correctly however the button driver for the buttons on my monitor won't install. It would have all been fine if I did it as an update from 7.
