Seiko Watches up to 50% off on Grays Online, With International Seiko Warranty.

These are some realy nice watches for extremely good prices, Grays sell a lot of Chinese built watches with fancy brand names and ridiculous RRP's but these are a real brand name watch at really good buy it now prices.

Don't buy a watch from Grays if you don't recognise the brand, the watch market is flooded with companies that pretend to have a heritage in watch making when many have just bought the name of a watchmaker that ceased manufacturing many years ago or simply use a snazzy Euro sounding name.
There is nothing wrong with a watch with a Chinese movement but they shouldn't cost as much as a watch with a Swiss movement.

I ended up buying a Citizen watch from Grays and I must admit I am slightly peeved, in the listing it seemed like the watch was Aus stock and should have local warranty. I was quite surprised when I found that my watch had been sent from the US and the warranty card was in a foreign language and was left blank, very nice considering it stated a 5yr international warranty.

I have shot them an email but this will be my last Grays purchase, the last time I purchased from them I ended up winning three Wacom monitors as it wasn't showing up on their site that I had won any of them and was notified via email. Luckily I wasn't bidding on high priced items or I would have been in trouble.

which one did you get? I'm sure there will be a website for Citizen where you can register an international warranty? Be worth it to check that it's real stock and real warranty!

Seems the US store that posted it isn't an authorised dealer so at best I get 12 months Citizen warranty. I am hoping because the sale listed a 5yr international warranty that will be enough for me to chat to the ACCC if they don't refund me fully, the ACCC are an extremely helpful mob.

Yes as above, the ACCC are extremely helpful even with very small purchases that have not gone to plan or were not 100% legal.

I have used them previously to understand my rights as a customer and they were happy to help.

Well Grays backed down after I quote them their own rules for returns and I am getting my money back, it was a nice watch but Grays don't like adhering to their own rules.

I had to pay return postage to Sydney and that was all so I am quite grateful to them for that, if it had to be post back to the US I would have kept it.

No it stated international manufacturers warranty but it was only a one year warranty and it had to be returned to the US for repair, I guess that makes it an international warranty haha.

In Grays credit the person I had been corresponding with via email was extremely helpful and in the end I got the outcome I wanted and I am only $15 out of pocket.
