Kaiser Baas Personal Media Player, $49 from JB Hi Fi Online,

This is an amazing price, $120 off the RRP for what sounds like a very capable little PMP. It only has 4Gb internal but can hold an SD card and will control an external HDD(unpowered USB port).
For $49 you get a HD display, full HD output/decoding, FLAC playback and it would operate as a nice little pic viewer.

Good to see a player that does H.246 and has a USB, as 4GB just isn't big enough for media these days!

That's true, 4GB doesn't get you far but being able to connect a USB HDD makes it pretty useful.
