Never seen a pre-order for a knife before! Thinking about it with Bear Grylls name on it it's going to be popular! I wonder if knife stores get lines outside them for new releases like gaming or mobile phone stores do? Or is it just us geeks that do that?

now that is a very interesting idea Dealdude, do people other than geeks line up for things? Do people into baking line up for the latest moulds or sewing line up at Spotlight or Lincraft on sales days?

I guess boxing day sales do get a fair few people lining up for other things, but not new releases.

Cinema goers, but a lot of time that'd be geeks.

@Dealdude here's something that people may line up for: Disney Frozen Sparkle Princess Elsa Doll and other Disney Frozen toys.

Gigs are another thing, used to line up to get BDO tickets. Glad I did one year think it was about $90 and a friend paid $350 off a guy at the train station on the day!

However internet ordering has got rid of a lot of that.
